NakedGator.com
I recently found a blog that I found worth mentioning, www.nakedgator.com. In particular, the latest entry I found worthy of including at least a small part of in this blog. Although it has nothing to do with our industry, NakedGator.com discusses a number of issues that should be important to us all.
Here is an excerpt:
“If 65 % of all Americans know what needs to be done to make America better, why isn’t it happening? It’s because the Democrats and Republicans are too greedy and can’t stop fighting long enough to find the real answers. During my three years with the Department of State, I became convinced that it was only by some benevolent act of God that we ever became a superpower. This leads me to an entirely new topic, which I will discuss in a later post.
So we all have a good idea as to the changes we would like to see, we listen to the politicans during the campaign, we choose the one best suited to represent our ideas and then we realize we made a terrible decision. How often does this cycle repeat itself? Every four years! Time and time again, our elected officials let us down. Now I could certainly write several paragraphs as to why politicians don’t live up to their promises, but would it make you feel any better about the ongoing crisis we face?
Obama won the 2008 election with 66,800,000 votes. George Bush won in 2004 with 62,000,000 votes. I think you, I and all of our friends and family members can win the 2012 election with about 63,500,000 votes. That’s right, we will find the 65% of Americans who know how to run this county. Our team of 63,500,000 members, who collectively understand what needs to be done, will choose from within our group those who will represent us in Washington. There will be no gross overspending on fancy campaigns filled with empty promises. Our politicians will owe no favors or promises of financial gain to any single individual or group that may have helped them win a seat. No more political favors, no more pork barrel spending, no more bailouts and no more lies.
So how do we find 63,500,000 members? We start now by contacting everyone we know. With less than four years to bring our team together, we must start now. If I reach 100 people, who in turn reach out to another 100 people, who in turn reach out to another 100 people, and this continues for a few months, we’ve reached 63,500,000 people. Send them to www.nakedgator.com. Ask them to sign up for the blog, but only if they believe in the content of my posts. As more and more people sign up, I will create a website that will futher define our thoughts, beliefs and goals. We can create a movement and we can save AMERICA!
