I Want to Start a Crime Scene Cleanup BusinessAs many of you are now aware, in July 2009 our company, ALERT Worldwide LLC, launched an e-book titled “Crime & Trauma Scene Cleanup for Business Owners”.  During the past few weeks we have received only positive emails and phone calls regarding our recent publication.  Although pleased that the book has been well received, our company would like to take this opportunity to share with you a few of the questions we’ve received and the subsequent answers we’ve provided.  These questions are not listed in any order of importance.

  1. QUESTION: At KeyBusinessIdeas.com your company offers a package deal that’s worth more than the price of the book.  How come this deal is so cheap?  ANSWER: Although a lot of time went into writing our book and we do spend a few dollars each day advertising it, there aren’t a lot of additional costs involved.  This book was written with the intent of helping those who want to start a business in the Crime Scene Cleanup Industry.  If we priced the book and the other incentives too high, then those we hope to help wouldn’t be able to afford the help.  How counter-productive would that be?  Besides, our staff doesn’t feel comfortable in overcharging for any service or product we offer.
  2. QUESTION:  Can anyone be successful in the Crime Scene Cleanup Industry?  ANSWER:  No, not everyone will be successful in their new business venture.  Just as many people fail in the retail industry or the security industry, so too will many fail in the Crime Scene Cleanup Industry.  Many may cite the fact that there is too much competition in a particular industry and that’s the reason why they failed.  This is never the case.  If you offer a better service at a more competitive price, coupled with an effective marketing campaign, your business will succeed.  Regardless of the industry, if you are better than your competition and customers know you exist, you’ve won 80% of the battle.
  3. QUESTION: Will your “Crime & Trauma Scene Cleanup for Business Owners” teach me everything I need to know to run my business?  ANSWER:  Certainly not.  A book that would teach you everything would take approximately 6,456 pages.  Although our book provides a great deal of information that should help you in the creation, marketing and operation of your new business, it doesn’t cover every possible situation or scenario that you may face.  Unlike many similar products, as part of our commitment to your success,  all paying customers will receive regular updates and additions that will provide more in-depth instructions and business information.  Plus if you ever need help, and can’t find the answer in our book, give us a call.
  4. QUESTION: If I buy your book, do I still need to go through training?  ANSWER:  Absolutely!  Our book teaches you how to set up and run a Crime Scene Cleanup Business, with hopes of making a decent living.  It does not teach you how to be a Crime Scene Cleanup Technician.

As with any business in any industry, creating a successful crime scene cleanup business takes a lot of work, even more dedication and a whole lot of desire.  It is not a business that will make you rich overnight or over the next five years.  However, if run properly, it can provide a decent living for both you and your family.

Thank you for your time.
